For more than two decades, founder Brian McDonald built relationships with exceptional farms, ranches, and producers throughout the Pacific Northwest. Those relationships shaped his understanding of quality and eventually inspired Whipped Velvet, a brand built on the belief that the finest ingredients should be accessible without compromise.

Why We Started

Over the years of working closely with small, local producers, Brian learned firsthand what separated exceptional ingredients from the mediocre. Often the markup had nothing to do with quality. Whipped Velvet was created to offer uncompromising ingredients at an honest price.
